Screenshots

Pixpresso is a lightweight image viewer and editor for macOS, built for the everyday jobs you don't want to open Photoshop for: cropping a screenshot, straightening a phone photo, marking up an image for a teammate, or resizing before you send. Open one picture and it lists every image in the folder in a sidebar, with nine one-click filters and export to JPG, WebP, or HEIC. It's included in every getapps.cafe subscription.

Open one image and Pixpresso lists every image in the same folder in the sidebar - turning it into a real viewer, not just a one-shot editor.

Highlights

  1. Folder browsing - thumbnail sidebar with inline rename and a right-click menu for duplicate, delete, and move-to-trash.
  2. Copy text from images - extract text from any image; select all or drag to highlight just the part you need, then copy straight to the clipboard.
  3. Crop - drag to select or type exact X / Y / W / H; choose an aspect ratio (free, 1:1, 3:2, 4:3, 16:9, and more).
  4. Resize - change dimensions with optional aspect-ratio lock; the preview shows the actual output pixel size.
  5. Rotate & flip - 90° left/right and horizontal/vertical flip, written straight to the file.
  6. Annotate - rectangle, ellipse, line, arrow, free-draw, and text with custom color & stroke; group, reorder layers, undo / redo, multi-select.
  7. Filter - brightness / contrast / saturation / blur sliders plus 9 preset looks (Sepia, Vintage, Polaroid, Kodachrome…) with a per-preset intensity slider.
  8. Export - JPG / PNG / WebP with a per-format quality slider.
  9. Session reset - revert to the version before your first save in this session, even after multiple edits.
  10. Open from Finder - drag-and-drop a file or folder onto the window, or right-click an image and choose Open With → Pixpresso .
