A local AI model does the cut-out on your machine, so your photos never leave your computer. Swap the background for a solid color or another image, feather the edges, and export a crisp PNG.

How it works
Drop a photo (or click to browse) and hit Remove background. A local AI model isolates the subject and gives you a transparent PNG on a checkerboard canvas. From there, pick a background - none, a color, or an image - nudge the edge feather, and click Export PNG. Recent removals are kept in the sidebar so you can reopen them anytime.
Everything runs on your Mac. The model downloads once into ~/Library/Application Support/CremaClear/ and then works completely offline; your images are never sent anywhere.
