AlarmMoka is the alarm clock and countdown timer your computer never came with. Not one alarm - as many as your week actually needs, each with its own time, its own name and its own repeat days, all sitting in one quiet list.
It runs entirely on your own computer. No account, no sync, no subscription to somebody else's server - your alarms are a file you own, and they are there the next time you open the lid.
Highlights
- As many alarms as you like - a 6:15 run, a 6:45 train, a 22:00 wind-down. Each one gets a name, so a glance at the list tells you what it is for.
- Repeat on the days you choose - every day, weekdays, weekends, or any handful of days you tap out yourself. One-shot alarms switch themselves off after they ring, so tomorrow stays quiet.
- Several timers at once - the pasta, the oven and the tea all counting down side by side, each with its own label and its own clock. Start, pause, resume and reset any of them without touching the others.
- It keeps ringing until you answer - the sound loops, a notification arrives, and an alert panel waits on screen with Dismiss and Snooze. No message that vanishes before you get back to your desk.
- Rings with the window closed - the countdown lives in the app itself, not in a browser tab that goes to sleep. Close the window and it carries on from the menu bar.
- The next thing, always in the menu bar - the time of your next alarm, or the countdown of your shortest running timer, right next to the clock.
- Nothing is lost to a restart - close the app, restart the machine, come back tomorrow: your alarms are still armed and a running timer picks up exactly where the clock left it.
- It tells you what you missed - an alarm that came due while the machine was asleep is recorded and shown, not blasted at you two hours late.
- Snooze that behaves - pick anything from one minute to half an hour. A snoozed alarm says exactly when it will come back, and a repeating alarm returns to its normal schedule afterwards.
- Four alarm tones and a volume you set - from a gentle chime to an insistent one. Preview each before you choose.
- Light and dark, 12 or 24 hour - it follows your appearance and reads the clock the way you do.

How it works
Open AlarmMoka and press New alarm. Set the hour and the minute, give it a name, and tap the days you want it on - or leave it as a one-off. That is the whole setup. The list shows every alarm in the order the day runs, with a switch beside each one.
Timers work the same way: name it, set hours, minutes and seconds or take one of the presets, and press start. Add another whenever you need one; they count down independently. When something reaches zero the sound starts, a notification appears, and an alert panel offers Dismiss or Snooze. Close the window whenever you like - the menu bar keeps showing what is next, and everything still rings on time.
