Barista is a lightning-fast launcher for your Mac. Hit one shortcut and a search bar drops in: find any file, run quick math, convert currencies, search the web, peek at audio and video, or grab a password - all without lifting your hands off the keyboard.

No account, no cloud, no setup. Barista uses the Spotlight index your Mac already keeps and runs entirely on your machine, so results are instant and your files never leave your laptop.

How it works

Press ⌘⇧F from anywhere and the Barista search bar appears. Type to find a file or app, do a calculation, or run a command - then press Return to open, copy, or act on the top result. Press Escape and it disappears until you need it again.

Everything stays on your Mac. Barista reads the macOS Spotlight index for results; your settings, snippets, and pinned items live locally in ~/Library/Application Support/Barista/.
