MapPoster turns any place on Earth into a poster you can actually print - search a city, frame the map, pick a style, and export a 300 dpi PNG, a JPG at whatever quality you need, or a true-to-size PDF ready for a print shop.
Posters are documents here, not one-off canvases. The app opens on a library of everything you have made, each card a live miniature of the real poster; open one, change the city or the palette, come back to it next week.

- Typography made for walls - five bundled typefaces, uppercase and letter-spacing control, and coordinates in degrees-minutes-seconds, decimal or plain form.
- Decide what the map shows - buildings, small roads, railways and place names each toggle on or off, per poster.
- No account, no API key - map data comes straight from OpenStreetMap through open vector tiles, and your posters stay on your Mac.
How it works
Start a poster, search for a place or type coordinates, then drag the map until the framing is right. Choose a frame, a theme and a paper size; write the title, subtitle and an optional tagline. Everything updates on the poster itself as you go.
When you export, the map is redrawn at full print resolution and composited with the frame, so the file you hand a printer is the poster you were looking at - at nine times the detail.
