The Mocha Menu Just Doubled: ResumeRoast Lands + 3 New Creative Tools

Mocha just expanded from four apps to eight. ResumeRoast is live now, with BrewBIM, ScreenMotion, and VectorStudio coming soon. Here's everything new in the Creative Tools category.

If you checked the getapps.cafe menu this morning, you might have noticed something. The Mocha section looks different. A lot different.

Mocha, our Creative Tools category, just went from four apps to eight. One new app is live today. Three more are on the way. If you do any kind of creative work on your Mac, this matters.

ResumeRoast: Your Resume, Minus the Friction

ResumeRoast is live right now. It's a resume builder that skips the template-site nonsense. No accounts, no watermarks, no "upgrade to export" paywalls. You build a polished resume in minutes and export a clean PDF.

Most resume tools fall into two camps. The free tier watermarks your PDF with their logo. The subscription charges you $20 a month for something you update twice a year. ResumeRoast doesn't play either game. It's included in your getapps.cafe subscription, and the PDF you export is yours.

If you've been putting off updating your resume because you don't want to wrestle with a web-based builder, open this one instead.

What's Coming: BrewBIM, ScreenMotion, and VectorStudio

Three more apps are coming soon to Mocha. Each one fills a gap normally served by bloated, expensive tools.

BrewBIM is a lightweight BIM viewer. Open, browse, and inspect building models without the full editing suite. If you work in architecture or construction and need to check a model without launching Revit, this one's for you.

ScreenMotion records your screen and adds motion: smooth pans, zooms, and transitions. Export a polished video in seconds. Think demo videos, tutorials, and product walkthroughs that don't look like raw screen recordings.

VectorStudio is a vector graphics editor. Draw crisp shapes, edit paths, and export clean SVG files. No subscription, no cloud sync. Just vector editing that works offline.

These three join MokaStudio, a desktop video editor with a fast timeline for cutting, trimming, and exporting. MokaStudio was already on the coming-soon list.

Why This Matters

Creative tools have a pricing problem. Adobe charges $60/month for a single app. Figma's professional plan is $15/month per editor. Even niche tools like BIM viewers cost hundreds a year for a license that only lets you look at files.

Mocha takes a different approach. Native apps that run on your machine, work offline, and don't phone home with your data. All eight of them included in one subscription: $9.99/month for Solo, $14.99 for up to five devices on Family Roast.

No per-app pricing. No creative cloud lock-in. One flat subscription for the whole menu.

ResumeRoast is live now. BrewBIM, ScreenMotion, and VectorStudio are on the way. If you're already a subscriber, open the cafe and grab ResumeRoast. If you're not, there's a 7-day free trial with no credit card needed.
