GrammarLatte is a fast, private AI proofreader for your Mac. It catches spelling, grammar, and style slips as you type - the kind of small mistakes that quietly undermine an email, an essay, or a message - in any language, with no account and no subscription.

GrammarLatte checks with your own AI provider - Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or DeepSeek. Paste your API key once and it proofreads far beyond what a rule-based checker can catch, in whatever language you write. Your key stays on your Mac and your text goes straight to the provider you pick, with no middleman in between. Corrections appear right beside your text.

How it works

On first launch, pick an AI provider, choose a model, and paste your API key - the setup lives right in the app. From then on, just start typing or paste in text you already have. As soon as you stop, GrammarLatte highlights anything worth fixing and lists each correction on the right. Click a correction to jump to it, accept the ones you want, and your text updates in place.

Your key and your documents live on your own computer, under ~/Library/Application Support/GrammarLatte/. Your text is sent only to the provider you selected, and only while it is being checked. Switch providers or models any time in Settings.
